Why do we meet?
As a Canadian charity, Canadian Baptists of Western Canada is required by the federal government to have annual meetings every year. At these meetings, the CBWC holds itself accountable to local churches, presents audited financial statements and proposes budgets for future years. These meetings are also when special motions are presented for ratification by the members.
The CBWC holds its Assembly in person every second year and online every in-between year. All CBWC churches are invited to participate in our online Assembly.
