Carey Institute
The Carey Institute was established in 2006 to facilitate life-long learning that nurtures personal and church-based initiatives for Christian service. The Institute focuses on lay leadership development, pastoral continuing education and issue-based learning. In addition to traditional course formats, the Institute provides training through summer programs at the Vancouver campus as well as workshops, retreats, and internships, across Western Canada throughout the year. A sampling of the many options provided by the Institute are The Centre for Spiritual Formation, The Kenya Project, The Certificate in Ministry, and regional retreats and seminars designed in collaboration with regional church leadership.
