In Memoriam
Our deepest sympathies are with the family and friends of the late David Holten who passed away on March 14, 2021 at the age of 75.
David was an integral part of the CBWC staff for more than 23 years in various roles related to development, finance, and administration. His quick wit, easy laugh, wisdom, and generous spirit made him a beloved part of the team and he will be dearly missed. David was also Chair of the Senior Board and Moderator at First Baptist Calgary.
David leaves behind his wife of 50 years, Glenys, daughter Christa, son Shawn (Lindsay), and grandchildren Micah, Jonah and Noah.
Due to COVID restrictions allowing only invited guests to attend, a memorial service will be held via livestream on Friday, March 19, 2021 at 2:00pm MST from the First Baptist Church Calgary website: www.firstbaptistcalgary.com. The livestream will go live at 1:50pm MST.
In lieu of flowers, those who wish to leave a gift in Dave’s name may consider donating to First Baptist Church Calgary, the CBWC, or Carey Theological College.
