On behalf of the Search Committee and the CBWC Foundation Board, we are very pleased to announce that Bruce Ratzlaff will be joining us as the new CBWC Foundation President effective September 4, 2012.
Bruce resides in Calgary with his wife Verna. They have three married daughters all living in Calgary and 5 grandchildren. He has served in a variety of church board/council positions over the years. They were part of the founding leadership group at Wembley Baptist Church many years ago. Most recently they have attended Centre Street Church. In the upcoming months they look forward to a closer connect with our CBWC churches.
Bruce’s skills and desire to serve are very well aligned with the CBWC Foundation and his new role as President. He will bring a team focused, visionary management style to this ministry. His former position was as CEO of Bank West, a subsidiary of Western Financial Group. Prior to the banking experience, Bruce held a number of senior roles with Western Life Assurance Inc. These roles have taken him from Grande Prairie, to Winnipeg and back to Calgary.
Please join us in welcoming Bruce into our greater Baptist Family.
We also say farewell and thanks to Stu Dinsmore (Interim President) for his 10 years of service with the Foundation. Stu’s last day will be July 27, 2012. As always, we remain grateful in these times of transition to our Foundation team members of Ray Chan, Gerry Fisher, Penny Felipe, and Lisa Roth.
