March 13, 2014 – The CBWC hopes to hire a Regional Minister for the Heartland. A job description has been posted in the Careers section of the CBWC website. The deadline for applications in March 31, 2014.
Once hired, the new Heartland Regional Minister will work with CBWC churches and pastors in Saskatchewan and Manitoba to encourage churches to becoming healthy, missional communities. The Regional Minister will support the development of effective church leaders and provide pastoral care to pastors and their families. She or he will also facilitate church resourcing and networking opportunities and offer specific advice and assistance as required.
Currently, Wayne Larson and Faye Reynolds are serving jointly as Heartland Regional Ministers in an interim capacity. We are very grateful for their continuing dedication and service during this time of transition.
We look forward to discerning God’s choice for this important position in the life of the CBWC as we seek to share His faithfulness across Western Canada.
