Dear Friends,
Every year we have separate newsletters commenting on the mini-semester (which is the preparation for those going forward for ordination) and the New Pastor’s Orientation (which is actually an orientation for Pastors and staff members new to the denomination; not, as the title suggests, just for pastors.) I have been remiss in not sharing the names of those who were coming to these gatherings at an earlier date. But here they are.
It is very encouraging to see the diversity, commitment and wisdom that God has called to this family of churches and I am particularly thankful for those churches who have freed up the time and the funds and set these folk aside for this time together. We will pop a picture of the New Pastor’s Orientation into a subsequent newsletter and also an outline of what often happens in it.
