Vol 3 No. 9 News and Items for Prayer

I would like to share some items for prayer.

Carey Hall Centre will undergo its regular review by the Association of Theological Schools. They are praying that they will receive a ten years approval. Dr. Barbara Mutch, the Academic Dean, coordinates this.

Thanksgiving for Dr. Joy Gregory as she receives her DMin from Carey and struggles with cancer.

For the recent listening and covenanting sessions in February at Carey Hall, Victoria, and White Rock. John Prociuk coordinates this and we are very excited with how God is influencing and challenging churches.

Kirk and Debbie Potter; long time Director and managers at Keats who will be starting in Bellingham, as Kirk becomes Director of the Firs Conference Centre.

Paul Pearce as he prepares for sabbatical from May to September; for rest, reflection and progress on his research.

For Laura Nelson and George Sears, who are replacing Paul as Interim Area Ministers for British Columbia.

Please give thanks for and pray for the CHAPS group; chair Dayle Medgett and staff Dan Watt and especially for the new Missional Church Director.

Thanksgiving for Denton Lotz, the General Secretary of the Baptist World Alliance who is retiring and will be honoured in Washington this Saturday.

Thanks and support for David Holten and staff as the complete year ends in anticipation of March Boards.

Please pray for Sam Chaise as he leads the Union Board meetings this weekend.

For those planning Assembly (past and present), especially Marshall Miner, Jo-Anne Cosier, and Lisa Shierman.

In Christ,

Jeremy Bell
