Dear Folks,
Sometimes it is interesting to get an overview of the numbers of churches and traditions in Western Canada. The list of traditions and influences are interesting, and varied the stories. Behind these numbers represent the worshiping communities and lives of millions of people. Numbers are never intended, nor do they ever achieve, capturing the full picture of God’s presence and activity. Nonetheless, I’d like to thank Cailey Morgan, our associate in church planting with Tom Lavigne, for producing these numbers from a variety of sources. We will continue to fine tune, examine and analyse the birth of Christian expression in the West. Many thanks for your prayers and interests in this area. By the way, our numbers for the CBWC at 183 do not represent preliminary on going church plants. If they did, we would be well in excess of 200 churches.
